Dr. Kai Joachimsen is the Director General of the German Pharmaceutical Industry Association (BPI e.V.) since January 2019. Prior to this, Dr. Kai Joachimsen held several leading positions in the pharmaceutical Industry. Dr. Joachimsen completed his medical studies in Münster, Vienna and Marburg and obtained his PhD (magna cum laude). He also holds an Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the North Western University (Kellogg School of Management).
Andrew John Ullmann is a German politician of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) and Member of the German Bundestag. He is the spokesperson of the FDP parliamentary group on the committee on health and deputy chairman of the sub-committee on global health.
He is a full professor of infectious diseases at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg and a specialist of internal medicine, hematology, oncology and infectious diseases.

Daniel Nagel is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of Youth against AIDS (YAA). He is a creative activist with a strategic mindset, who leading the organization for over 10 years. Today, Youth Against AIDS is active in 6 countries on three continents, providing millions of young people with access to knowledge, protection and services each year.

Christian Thams is a Senior Director at biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences. He leads Government Affairs for Gilead Sciences in Germany since 2017 and focuses on policies fighting infectious diseases like HIV and Hepatitis C. Before joining Gilead Sciences, he worked on health policy issues for international consultancies in Berlin and Brussels.
Georg Behrens is Professor for T Cell Immunology at Hannover Medical School, Germany. He is specialist in internal medicine and infectious disease and was trained at the Immunology Division at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute for Medical Research, Melbourne, Australia.
He is principal investigator of national and international studies in HIV medicine and was president of the German AIDS Society from 2011-2019. Currently, he is EACS governing board member and Chair of the EACS Treatment Guidelines. He is NEAT-ID steering committee member, member of the German Center for Infection Research (DZIF), and chair of the MD/PhD Program Molecular Medicine.

Sara Cerdas is a 31-years-old Portuguese medical doctor and since July of 2019 a Member of European Parliament. She is member on the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food. She is also the Vice-Chair of the Special Committee on Beating Cancer and the S&D shadow rapporteur for the EU4Health Programme.
